But before they can escape, German soldiers move into town and the danger becomes so much more real! Jo also knows the penalty for helping Jews escape is death!
The author, Michael Morpurgo, used the third person point of view.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes historical fiction. This book is based on a very serious topic.
