"Tough To Tackle" by Matt Christopher, reviewed by Kyle G.

4 stars

How would you feel if your all happy about going to football tryouts but your coach says your to heavy to play quarter back? Well Boots Raymond did not like it. I would recommend this book to people who like football. If your not really interested in football your most likely not going to enjoy this book that much. I love the way Matt Christopher brightens the page with awesome adjectives. Boots Raymond cant believe his eyes when he finds his position as right tackle. he thinks about quiting but his brother, Tom in the military, helps him decide to stick with football. Boots is a good player. He makes mistakes but he is still good.

If you ever read six innings or any other book by Matt Christopher you will like this book. It is similar to some books by Matt Christopher because problems at home effect the way athletes play. The authors craft is a lot of dialog. Boots problem is common. If you weigh to much your a lineman. Boots does not want to disappoint his brother, Tom. the season starts in a snap. But when his family does not hear from Tom for a long time so they get really worried. Read "Tough To Tackle" to find out what happens to Boots over the season.
