5 starsThis family will never hear anyone say that that's a quite and calm group of people. David, the main character, was diagnosed with Autism. David goes to O.T. (Occupational Therapy). His sister Caroline always gets stuck with the job of taking care of David. David's favorite place to be is the movie store. Sometimes Caroline just wants David to be normal that way their family can do things that she wants to do. Also so David will stop embarrassing her. At O.T. Caroline meets a boy named Jason. He can only move his arms and hands so he is in a wheel chair. He has a book full of cards, he points to cards that have words on them. Once people read what he pointed to they know how he's feeling or what he wants. Will Caroline ever stop being furious at David? Will david ever stop embarrassing Caroline?
I reccomend this book to other fith graders because getting diagnosed with Autism happens to a lot of people. It tells you some things about Autism. It also has a lot of descriptave writing. It made me want to keep reading and it will probably make you want to keep reading too.

Jake,
Great job!
I liked how you gave details in the story without giving it away.
Jake
