Do you think the kids will get saved from the crash? The book takes place on a boat on the ocean.Here are some things about the main characters.They do NOT get along well and their always fighting.Charla is a quiet and peaceful girl and she doesn't like to get involved in things like the others do.Lyssa is a know it all. She likes to be the center of attention. J.J Lane thinks he is SO "special" because he is rich and famous,yet the other kids think he is a total BRAT!Will is an indescribable person because he is different everyday .You never how he will behave . Luke is very impatient ,he always wants things done right away and if things aren't done ,then he will get REALLY mad.

Here's the problem. I would say the problem is that the kids don't get along well at all and very bad things happen because they cant agree on anything.When they don't agree on something one person gets mad then another and another.The kids figure out how to work their different opinions but sadly its not a good way.Read the book to find out how they solve their problems.

The book Island is a great book for when you want a surprising and terrific book!The dialog in Island is like a trap you can't escape , because you can't stop reading it.When you start reading you cant escape the book and you wont be able to put it down.I hope you will be able to fit this book in sometime.

The author uses very descriptive language in the story and he uses similes and maybe even some metaphors .The book takes place in the modern time and it is on a 60 foot boat called the Phoenix. Mr.Radford the adult in the story is very strict and yells a lot. He said to the children that the Phoenix can't get hurt even when there are HUGE storms . But that was a lie.
