Welcome to the Hunger Games! Katniss is poor and hunts in the woods for food and money. But she is now picked to fight to the death in an arena with Peeta, a from the bakery. She has to say goodbye to her mom and her sister and leave for the arena. Most of the story takes place in the Hunger Games arena.

Katniss lives in district 12 the most unlikely district to have a winner in the Hunger Games. Katniss is very good with the bow and arrow and has bravery. Katniss has to take place in a mind blowing adventure that will hook you on so you can't stop reading. Will Katniss survive the Hunger Games?

I recommend this book because the story had a plot and characters that engaged me in the book. It has stunning cliff hangers at the end of every chapter. One of the authors main strategies is cliff hangers. Plus, you can hear Katniss retelling the story again and again. This is a great book to read in spare time and is for people who like violence.
