''Dream of Night,'' by Heather Henson, reviewed by Shayna L.

1 Star

I got interested about the book ''Dream of Night'' on the first page. Jessalyn is the main character along with her horse. Read this book to find out the horse's name at the end. One day Jess went to check on her old racing horse in the barn. The horse had died and Jess had no idea what to do without a horse. So, the next day she went to a barn and there was the most beautiful Stallion. Jess asked to buy the horse. ''This horse has been abused. Do you still want him?'' said the farmer. "Yes,please. My horse just died and I can't live without one." said Jess. "Sorry about your horse,"and the farmer walked the horse to the trailer attached to Jess's dad's car. "That would be $5,000 please. Can I pay you $200 and I'll come back when I I get the rest?" Will Jess be able to buy the horse?

I don't recommend this book to fifth graders. Only because there is two problems and when they switch the problems. Also the events are hard understand. Heather Henson, the author, wrote this book for entertainment. She also wrote this book to get the point across that people can be happy in different ways. Read this book to find out the other events.
