"A Dog's Life," by Ann M.Martin, reviewed by Jasmine.D

4 1/2 stars

How would you like to be a stray dog, born in a wheelbarrow, having to hunt for food? Well this is exactly what Squirrel, an amazing dog, has to do to survive on her own after loosing her family. Squirrel is not like most dogs because, most certainly, not all dogs have the same experiences. Squirrel travels to many places.
This book is from the prospective of the main character, but has many sad parts. I recommend this book to fifth graders who love adventure.
