How would you feel if your classmates called you Goon? Gary W. Boone wants to be a stand up comedian when he grows up. He tells jokes to his girlfriend Angeline and she laughs every time. He wants to be in the talent show but if more people don't sign up, they can't have it. Even worse he can't tell jokes "until" the show and this is hard because he always tells jokes to everyone. Gary is at shool, his house, his friends house, and the park in the story.

I recommend this book to any 3rd,4th,or 5th graders if you like books with lots of problems. If you want to find out more, read this book! I myself love this book. I love this book because the author makes his character tell jokes, and I like his jokes.
