Well that's just what 13 year old Ali and her cute cousin, 5 year old Emma do at mysterious old Gull Cottage. Right behind the house is a deep, dark, and dangerous lake! Ali is a curious, smart, and protective 13 year old. Right before summer begins Ali finds an old picture of her mother, aunt, and another young girl who has been torn out of the picture. The picture has a cottage and a lake in the background. She turns it over and sees her mother's name ( Claire ), her aunt's name ( Dulcie ), and a T but like the girl ,the rest is torn out! When Ali goes to Gull Cottage (the lake)with her Aunt Dulcie and 5 year old cousin Emma she meets Sissy, a young girl about nine years old. She has many secrets having to do with the picture and who T is. Will Ali find out Sissy's secrets? Will she solve the mystery of the torn photo? I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys ghost stories and mysteries!
