Imagine moving into a murder house! That's exactly what happened to a thirteen year old boy named Logan. When his parents buy a new house in rural Virgina, Logan finds out that it isn't new at all. This old paint chipped house used to belong to and old lady named Myrtle Donaldson who was murdered there! Mrs. Donaldson was accused of stealing money from the old amusement park she used to work at The Magic Forest, and was killed for the money. Logan and his new friend Arthur ride their bikes to the Magic Forest all the time. But going there will never be the same after this one visit. They arrived there at midnight with Myrtle Donaldson's killer hidden in the shadowy kudzu vines just waiting for them. Find out what happens in this suspenseful mystery. I really enjoyed this book because the author Mary Downing Hahn builds a lot of suspense. I would definitely recommend this book for kids who like mysteries!
